While in the pursuit of happiness,
one should stop -
and just be happy . . .

Our Day at the Nashville Zoo

 On our way!

 Dinosaur Trek

Baylor & Jack kept us on the
"straight and narrow"
with their map skills.
Sometimes,
Jack even held his right side up :)

There were a few times along the way
that Jack forgot that these creatures weren't real.
This is one of those times.

 digging for bones

It was so fun to feed these birds!

 Time for a cool treat.
It was sooooo hot.

 The flamingos were so pretty.

Time to leave.
Time for lunch.
See Kyndal's cool parasol?

Here are some videos from our day at the zoo:

 uncapping the honey

The one on the left is from the first extraction we did in May.

This is the clean-up crew.
It is amazing how thorough they are!

Monday, June 18th

David Shockley doing some backhoe work at the Dumpling Mountain Road property -
This made several times he has come to help us in our attempt to reclaim and beautify the place

Matthew & the boys camped at Rocky River that night.
Joe stayed with them until bedtime when he opted to come home instead of sleep in a tent.
I stopped in for a quick visit before coming back home.
And surprise, surprise!  Joe made most of these pictures :)

On their way home the next day,
they stopped by Shangri La to tell us bye.
They looked like they had had about as much fun as they could handle.
