The kiddos made palm trees for breakfast --

Played in the dirt that afternoon --

And made yummy s'mores that night --

Party Time!

Thankfully, the sun finally came out and we were able to have Jack's birthday party at Rocky River.  We had so much fun together and enjoyed all the food that Lori & Patrick provided.  Loved the birthday cake - great job, Lori!

 Jack's day would have been perfect,

if only he could have spent the night at Little House :)

The Ellsworth Girls Are Here!!!

Julee, Ceseley, & Natalie arrived around dinner time on Friday evening, September 7.  The next day was a busy one.  First stop, the Farmers' Market . . .

"Two racks of ribs, please."

After we got our shopping done, we went to see Aunt Agnes & Uncle Sherman and had a nice little visit with them.  Then, we went to Baylor's soccer game and sat in the rain.  No pictures.  After we got back to Shangri La, Natalie took advantage of a puddle of water she spotted  . . .
