Cannonsburgh Village

On Thursday, September 20, I took Joe to the airport to fly to Denver to visit Holly & her family.  I did some shopping in Murfreesboro afterward, and then went to Lori's to stay with the boys so that she and Patrick could go on a date.  I spent the night, we had breakfast at Cracker Barrel the next morning, and then I came home.  

On Monday, September 24, I met Lori and the boys at Cannonsburgh Village for a picnic before going back to the airport to pick up Joe.  

Sunday Drive

I spent most of the day on Sunday the 23rd with Mom.  I made lunch and took out there to share with her.  Afterward, I asked her if she felt up to going for a ride, since it was such a gorgeous day.  She did, and after some discussion, she asked me to take her for a drive alongside Cane Creek, which is where she grew up.  She shared lots of memories as we drove down Highway 30 and then turned onto Cane Creek Rd.  I think she enjoyed it very much.  The pic is of her making her way back into the house after our drive.

A Visit with Grandma and Trip to the Fair #2

Warren County A & L Fair (Trip #1)

The Ellsworth girls and the Jones boys were so excited to get to go to the fair.  But for about an hour Wednesday afternoon, we weren't so sure it was going to happen.  Ceseley had a bad fall on the piano bench.  Her little mouth bled and bled.  After a call to Dr. Foster, and a trip to Stewart's pharmacy, we decided to make it happen.  They had soooooo much fun -- even Ceseley, with a very swollen lip!
