While in the pursuit of happiness,
one should stop -
and just be happy . . .

Take me out to the ballgame . . .

Jack loved being at Baylor's game.

My boy watching his boy.

Baylor got several hits.
It's hard to believe he's old enough to play coach-pitch.

Happy Birthday, Bryce!

Jerk Chicken -
the perfect entree for Bryce's birthday dinner -
or so said Blake.
(That little comment earned him "a look" from Bryce)!
Bryce's b'day dessert wish?
Fruit Pizza, of course.
Lori's Lime-in-the-Coconut Cookies
were yummy, too!
And so were Keeley's world-famous Baked Beans -
and Lori's Pioneer Woman Hominy Casserole -
and my Oven-Fried Potatoes.
Add a salad to that and you've got a pretty good birthday dinner.

Highway 30 Masterpiece

On our way home from Rocky River, I noticed this old out-building covered in wisteria. I asked Joe to turn around and go back so I could get a pic. There are some really big trees behind where I was standing when I took the picture. When Joe got out, he noticed that those trees were full of the beautiful blossoms, as well. Smelled really good!

Wild Blue Phlox

These beautiful, fragrant flowers are blooming all along the river.

Local Sales Network

William and "Cessy" shopping for goats and ponies on LSN.
Wonder if Pa Joe gave them a budget?
He sure would like to figure out a way
to have goats at Rocky River.

"nosey"

See Brett in the background? This is what he's thinking:
No way am I ever having kids . . .

Kids favorite part? Gummy worms from the gift shop.
Favorite for Dan, Julee, Brett, and me? You're looking at it :) !!
(The jellyfish, the sharks, the turtles,
the penguins, the stingrays, and the butterflies
were all pretty cool, too).
William hated the escalators and the elevators.
Hated them. A lot.
