Thank you, Dr. Lynn!

William fell at church on Sunday and broke a front tooth.  Even though Dr. Lynn was on vacation, and even though Will was not his patient, he still offered to meet us at his office on Monday.  Will has been poked and prodded by so many within the medical establishment for several months that it wasn't surprising when he was highly apprehensive when Dr. Lynn wanted to look at his tooth.  Using one of the tricks of the trade, the good doc captured Will's attention with his "special" mirror and was able to examine the tooth.  Thankfully, he didn't think anything NEEDED to be done, but he did think it would be good to put something on the tooth to take care of the sharp edges.  No amount of reasoning with this little patient could convince him to let Dr. Lynn do it, though.  Not wanting to subject Will to anything else that wasn't absolutely necessary, we gave up.
Dr. Lynn's office is right beside the railroad track in Tullahoma.  Will & Jack LOVE trains.  As luck would have it, right as we pulled into the parking lot, a train came through.  The boys were so excited.  As we were leaving, Will kept saying he wanted the train to come back.  Good to know that he thought his mom and I have that much power, but alas, he was disappointed to learn that we are both powerless in that regard.  So, he and Jack had to settle for the sign for the dental practice featuring trains - which is pretty neat in and of itself.
