We did. Joe didn't build a fire until much later in the day, and when he did, he only built a small one for us to make s'mores. It was so blustery with gusts that felt like they were going to blow us all away. Perfect weather and family get-togethers have hardly gone hand-in-hand at Little House. The exceptions were when Betsy & kids were there in the spring and when my niece and her family stayed there not long ago. At least it wasn't raining and there were no tornado warnings issued!
The Ellsworths arrived from VA yesterday and we had a party at Rocky River to celebrate!
