The Results of Seven Inches of Rain

The rain/storms began for us about 3 AM on Friday. These videos and pictures were made Sunday afternoon and Monday morning. Once it got dark Sunday night, we couldn't really tell how high the water was. We just knew it was still raining. On Monday morning, the evidence suggested that the river had risen about another two feet during the night. The river there drains quickly because it is so close to the headwaters. It also moves very rapidly and is very noisy. Wouldn't want anyone to fall into it at a time like this!
