We made another batch of strawberry jam tonight after stake conference. This time we used the Ball brand, Simple Creations, fruit pectin. There is absolutely no reason to turn on the stove for this recipe. You mix the pectin with 1 1/2 cups sugar. Crush 4 cups of strawberries. Stir the sugar mixture and the berries together for 3 minutes and pour into containers. It's twice the amount of berries per recipe and less than half the sugar. Yummy and sooooo easy!
That's my favorite pectin! I used 1/2 Splenda & 1/2 sugar. LOVED it. I also used it to make Strawberry-Pineapple. (3 c. strawberries, 1 c pineapple). YUM!
