On Friday, the Andersons, Blatters, and Whites went to Universal Studios, and Joe and I went to Epcot. It was a beautiful day and we saw and heard and tasted almost more than our feet could bear. We had fun "Soarin'" high above California vistas, sailing through the greenhouses of The Land Pavillion, taking the Gran Fiesta Tour with The Three Cabelleros, watching The American Adventure, Impressions de France, and O Canada!, and listening to some very talented musicians: The British Revolution, Mariachi Cobre, and Voices of Liberty. We also loved the Jeweled Dragon Acrobats and our boat ride across the lake. There were soooooo many choices of how we could have spent our time there, but we were able to do/see most of the things on our priority list.
Toward the end of the day, we were so surprised to Rosanne & Kara Caten and Madison Weeter. "It's a small world after all!"
Our trip to FL was a nice respite from the winter cold, and it was so good to be with some of the family. We brought some "sunshine" home with us to both eat and share with others. It helped to warm us up during the bitterly cold weather that met us when we returned just to see it on our kitchen table.
